Spice apple crumbleApple and spice and all things nice...

Holly J from Fit is the new black brings us this super simple and easy to bake crumble. Replacing the butter of traditional crumbles with coconut oil adds a subtle dynamic to the flavor of this festive dessert.

Coconut oil is a firm favorite with those who follow paleo diets and is a lighter option than butter without having to be brewed in the chemistry lab.

"Apple Spice Crumble may be one of my favorite holiday desserts. It's simple to make and high in fiber which can make it easier to resist seconds. Traditional crumbs call for butter but in this recipe I've substitued it with cocount oil, a healthier fat that's amazing for skin, nails and hair."
