Tribesports User of the Week: Jennifer P

Jennifer P and Phil CWhich Tribesports Challenge has been your toughest and which are you most proud of?

The toughest are yet to come!  I have been working on trying to get a sub 2 hour half marathon and I am so close - 2:01:45 is my current PB.  The one I am most determined to complete is actually a team effort to travel five times round the world.  It is taking some time!

Of the ones I have completed I would have to say it was The Wall Ultra 2013.  I was injured before I started so it was a fairly stupid idea...

Rose K completed the Marathon des Sables last month, she's not some professional adventurer, she works a full-time job, likes the occasional gin & tonic and hadn't run an organized 5km until 2 years ago.Rose running MdS

Not everyone would choose to spend 10 days of their annual leave running through the desert, so we wanted to hear how her adventure went!

We caught up with Rose to find out what made her take on this epic Challenge!

First off, can you outline your running experience before you entered the Marathon des Sables?

Tribesports User of the Week: Amy I

Amy Outdoors!Which Tribesports Challenge has been your toughest and which are you most proud of?

I think sit ups are the worst exercise ever, right up there with burpees. So the challenge was 100 sit ups in under 2:30 was tough but after working on core strength with my sit ups after a couple of weeks, I was able to complete it.

It’s awesome to see you’re tackling your first ultra this year. How is the training going?

Training is going well. I am learning a lot from experienced trail runners and people...

#SayItWithSweat Guide to Races

New Year's Resolutions are easy to make: I'm going to win the London Marathon, break 10 hours for 100 miles and take the Queen out for dinner at a Wimpy (she'll get the frankfurters, obviously).

Resolutions made, it is that easy, right?

But what's this? Tribesports want us to #sayitwithsweat? Well, that's a different story… so how do you motivate yourself to get sweaty all year round?

Robbie Britton #sayitwithsweat

Making resolutions is easy; sticking to them is a much bigger challenge than we all let ourselves in for...
