Elf

Will Ferrell Elf - SANTA SHOUT

It's hard to believe that this movie is almost 10 years old! This 2003 classic-in-the-making sees Will Ferrell portraying an orphaned boy who was raised by Santa as an elf and goes back to New York city to find his father - needless to say, hilarity ensues! Elves from the Elves Vs. Reindeer race will have to get 97 minutes of exercise under their belts before sitting down to this Christmas movie!

Miracle on 34th St

Miracle on 34th St

The original Miracle on 34th Street is from 1947 is a tale designed to rekindle the magic of Christmas! This film has withstood the test of time, even with a remake (you know, the one with the girl from Matilda in it!), this classic is still enjoyed every Christmas by the likes of Ann L. 96 minutes of exericise will earn you this full length feature film!

Home Alone

Home Alone

Nothing says Christmas like a blow-torch to the head! 1990 brought us the ultimate Christmas movie in the shape of Home Alone. It's hard to believe this film is now 22 years old, it's still a favourite with kids and big kids alike - let's just pretent sequels 3-5 don't exist! 103 minutes of working out will earn you over an hour and a half of unbelievable head impacts for Marv and Harry.

The Santa Clause

The Santa Clause

Tim Allen, santa suit - need we say more?! Earn your sofa time with the king of comedy's less-funny cousin in this heartwarming story which is endorsed by Grace K. Scott (Tim Allen) accidentally kills Santa and must fill his suit - right down to the beard and belt! This wholesome family fun can be earned with 97 minutes of exercise!

How The Grinch Stole Christmas

The Grinch

Jim Carey gives the performance of a lifetime in this feature length film of Dr Seuss's children's story. Everyone knows a Christmas Grinch so maybe take yours for a workout (lasting roughly 104 minutes), sit them down and see if their heart will be filled with Christmas cheer watching over an hour of Jim Carey at his finest!

Think these are just kids' Christmas movies? Well we also had Love Actually and Trainspotting nominated but they just weren't as popular as these all-time Classic Christmas movies!

Got my stationary bike, my rower, my weights, and my body weight exercises - planks, supermans, squats, etc. and as much running as my achilles will allow (which is not much)! That will help me earn my movie-watching time. Christmas wouldn't be the same without The Grinch (animated, NOT Jim Carrey), It's a Wonderful Life, White Christmas, and the Doctor Who Christmas special. Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays to everyone!

Glaring omission @cags A Christmas Story! "Triple dog dare you", "Fra - gi - le, must be Italian", " Oh my god, I shot my eye out!", "the queen-mother of dirty words"
