Al WWhich Tribesports Challenge has been your toughest and which are you most proud of?

The toughest Challenge I've taken has to be the 10,000 burpees in 100 days Challenge. Another tough Challenge was the 30 day challenge: 10,000 kettlebell swings and 5,000 push ups. I don't know what it is about these high rep challenges that attracts me, they always seem like a good idea at the time.

Although I'm proud of completing both of these challenges, the one that I'm most proud of is holding a 5 minute plank. When I started with planks I could barely manage to hold the position for 1 minute and thought I'd never manage 2 or 3 minutes never mind 5. But I stuck with it and earlier this year I held on for 5m 11s, it wasn't pretty I was shaking like crazy but I did it :)

In your bio, you say you workout mostly at home - what does a typical workout look like in your house?

Yes all of my workouts are done at home, I mostly do bodyweight exercises so I don't require too much space or equipment. The only equipment I have are a small set of dumbbells, 2 kettlebells, an ab wheel and a chin up bar. 

Your Challenge to do 10,000 burpees in 100 days is pretty insane, tell us how you managed to complete it!

I can't do too many burpees in one set. So I stuck to 5 sets of 20 with about a 2 or 3 minute break between each set to catch my breath.

Dear BurpeesThe hardest part for me was sticking with it day after day, the monotony of it all really started getting to me around the half way point. I started taking more and more rest days towards the end of the challenge, the problem there though was I had to double up on the amount of burpees to catch up. It was a complete nightmare and I'm so glad it's over!!

I started this Challenge with Amanda, unfortunately about half way through Amanda had to quit through illness but knowing Amanda I'm sure she'll complete it one day :))

Which Kettlebell exercise is your favorite?

Probably kettlebell swings, they're great for burning calories. I also like the kettlebell snatch, it took me a while to get the hang of the technique at the top of the snatch without snapping my wrist but it feels good now I can do it :)

Have you signed up for your Tough Mudder?

Not yet, no. This is a long term goal of mine and I really need to work on my running before I could do a Tough Mudder. I have some friends who say they'd like to do it too and I think it would be great to do it as a group. So maybe next year.

Where in the world would you most like to complete a Challenge?

Hmmm having never left the UK anywhere would be nice ;) I'd love to go to America or Australia though.

Which piece of Tribesports Performance Wear is your favorite?

I quite like the look of the Men's performance tech Tee SS and the Men''s performance 5" shorts. I'm planning to purchase both of these soon.

Amanda C - A shining star in the TS community, very supportive and helpful to everyone. My burpee partner and a dear friend :))

Eunice Y - Eunice does some fantastic workouts and is so supportive to everyone, I think Eunice has encouraged everything I've ever done or said on TS.  A real TS superstar! :))

Dave W - Haven't seen too much of him lately but he'll be back soon I'm sure. A great guy!

Anne T - I'm always impressed with the workouts that Anne gets through. Another burpee fan too :))
