Firstly, this is a hugely emotional moment, do you have an award-ceremony style gushing acceptance speech?

Naaaay not really....I'm not one for speeches. I would just like to say thank you to Tribesports for creating a platform that allows like-minded people to come together to inspire, motivate, educate and CHALLENGE each other. This really is a brilliant concept.

With over 350 Challenges completed, what's been your favourite Tribesports Challenge and which has been the toughest?

The toughest challenges are always my favourites. To date, I would have to say, in no particular order - my "favourite toughest" Challenges have been Rowing Madness and Push Up Madness with Taking a Cold Shower Everyday For A Week following close behind.

It's hard to miss your Zombie Preparedness Challenges, are you in-the-know about something we're not?!

First, Thanks for noticing. And no I am not in-the-know. Workouts, running, exercising in general - is always more fun when there is a theme. The Tribesports "Challenge" format really allows for people to get creative with workouts or in this case prepare for an apocalypse.

Zombie runs are really taking off around the world - which team do you want to be on; the zombies or the survivors?

Survivors of course.....I have to put all this training to use....right??

You recently lead a discussion on whether it's acceptable for cyclists to shave their legs, Tribesports gave it the thumbs up - how are you finding it?

Outside of the actual shaving part - I love it. Especially when showering off after a ride - clean up is way easier!!! If anyone has a secret that would make the whole "shaving experience" easier PLEASE let me know. Thanks in advance!!!

With all your training - your time for the father/daughter 5k must be looking good; are you ready for it?

This race isn't about me - its about my little girl. It will be her 1st 5k and she will dictate our pace. Right now we are looking at 43mins based on our practice run. My daughter is a member of Girls On The Run. It is agreat organization in which girls meet twice a week to discuss "social issues" that your girls are faced with and also practice to run a 5k race. The girls have to pick a sponsor runner to run with them and my daughter picked me. I am very excited to be able to share this moment with her...its going to be awesome!!!!

When the zombies do invade which pieces of kit would you choose for optimum survival?

"Do invade"??? So who exactly is "in-the-know" here?? For optimum survival read Max  Brooks' Zombie Survival Guide - it tells you everything you need to know  and what you need to do- it is the zombie survival bible - its on my nightstand!!!

What quote keeps you going and who inspies you?

Quote - "To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift" - Steve Prefontaine

My children and wife inspire me.
