Samarth A You are User of the Week!

It’s great to be a part of TS.  Thank a lot for the much coveted accolade on TS!

What’s your favourite thing about being part of the Tribesports community?

What I enjoy most on TS is the plethora of challenges, which suits the diverse interests of the people   and the motivation provided, intentionally and unintentionally, by  the active users on TS!

Which has been your toughest Challenge, which are you most proud of and which would you recommend to other Tribesports users?

Among many, few of the tough ones for me were Do a headstand sirshasana and Hand-balancing (crane pose) for 30 seconds. Also Handstand for 30 seconds and few others  are the big challenges currently.

I’d recommend 4 weeks without alcohol, 30 days without chocolate, No cocacola for one month and Ooooh fruity fruity. Be healthy and stay fit.

All of your showcase achievements are basketball Challenges, what’s been your favourite?

There is no favourite in particular. I liked Three point shootout as i like shooting 3 pointers. Also, since dunking is one of the most exciting aspect of Basketball, I liked Learn to dunk in basketball. Others are Dribble the basketball court, Steve Nash shooting workout  (Recommended) and Bounce two basketballs for a minute (Recommended).

Do you play for a team?

I played for my school and college team and represented my city and state at various National level tournaments. Our school won National championship in 2007 and it was great experience. I graduated last month, so currently, I am not playing for any team. I might join a club in future.

You’ve got lots of yoga postures in your achievements, how do you find it helps other aspects of your sports profile to practise yoga?

It definitely helps. Yoga provides flexibility and strength, which is required for most of the sports. It also improves concentration and provides peace of mind which plays a vital role in sports.

Love your profile picture, have you been white water rafting often?

This picture was taken when I tried White water rafting for the first time .I rafted only twice but it was a great experience and i would love to raft again!

Have you enjoyed the parkour Challenges you’ve completed? Which has been your favourite?

I found out about Parkour last year and loved the adrenaline rush involved. Parkour  requires high fitness level and strength. I liked Do a parkour climb-up and One handed vault. Also, Turn vault (This was not exactly a challenge as I think most of us have already completed this challenge at some point in their life, like, when we were kids)

Which Tribesports members make your day?

@karana@rupal, @annad, @barbaral, @sonu, @cheeta, @krnvcn, @heatherw, @orange1 and many others.

What’s your favourite quote?

I hated every minute of training, but I said, 'Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion'.”

― Muhammad Ali
