Rugby training circuits

Rugby is a game of speed and power and involves total body conditioning. This circuit builds functional muscle that can be transferred into explosive power when necessary. It’s not for the light-hearted - you'll be feeling the burn by the end of this circuit.

Do this circuit training 3 times a week for 6 weeks, and watch the improvements!

1. Long bicep curls (3 sets, 10 reps)
2. Power press-ups (3 sets, 6 reps)
3. Overhead throw (3 sets, 10 reps)
4. Vertical jumps (3 sets, 20 reps)
5. Punch bag (8 sets, 1 minute)
