Trade the office chair in for a Swiss ball for an entire ...

Unlike the chair the Swiss ball (also known as the exercise ball) creates an unbalanced surface when sitting on it, which can be great for strengthening your core and improving your balance. At university I used a Swiss ball to write all my essays and found it really good for my stomach muscles. So I challenge you to trade in your chairs at work and sit on a Swiss ball for an entire week. Be careful to maintain good posture keeping your spine aligned properly. I used this great website to get my posture right: http://www.microsoft.com/canada/home/life-and-style/articles/get-on-the-exercise-ball.aspx . This challenge is for everyone but remember if you are unable to maintain the correct posture build your endurance up slowly. Perhaps start with one hour a day, working up to longer periods and before you know it an entire week will be a breeze :-)
