Graham H Ultramarathon (30 miles) Challenge

Contributorgold Graham H This May the 25 , 2013 i completed the London to Brighton run 100k or 62 miles, last year in my first and only dnf i got to 94k and was technically withdrawn when medics fixed my toenail at 94k but after sitting for 30 mins while they worked, i just seized and could not continue, so i guess in a way i did 194 k for that damned medal, and i love it

Dave H, you wont regret it, its a great day, the free drink was High-5 juice you may want to check and try it now, you will see some great sights and have lots of memories , will learn just how deep you can dig, the first time i did it every step after 26 miles was a new PB so just enjoy , ditchling hill is a pain barrier but then its all down hill, the hardest part for me was the bridle path/groove walkways between the 94k and the racecourse trying to run those at night was frought with risk and tension having to do it slow and steady so as not to twist anything so close to the end, but that said there is no feeling in the world like running up the little incline on the Brighton racetrack to the finnish line , the free champagne and a big hug off my family who were at the finish for me when i got in there at 23:30 twas a hell of a day - i know you will love it. just do it and put it to bed, i had to do it twice to get that medal. all the very best Dave - post your sponsor link - not promising but i know how much it costs
