Miles v Km's? and does it matter?

Topic • 9 replies

So recently been having discussions with some runners who pace in minutes/km whereas I use minutes per mile. Just wondering if there are any thoughts out there on this?

Newest reply

Stuck on the mile pacing maybe because I was running races in high school and didn't even see km races until I was running in college.  Now most races are in kms but I convert the distance into miles so I can keep on my pace.

Anyone else thinking about next year's goals?

Topic • 3 replies

I think I will complete most of my annual goals this year but doubt that I can push my distance goals (cycling/swimming/running/rowing) a third year in a row.  Good time to find out what everyone else is doing and to create plenty of challenges for 2017.

Mine have to be dogs and midges! I love dogs normally, and own 2, but when out for a run I think they have to be one of the most annoying things to come across. Especially the ones that follow you for ages! Midges.. get in your eyes, ears, mouth (if you'r...
