Hi, I. 48 years old and started running about two years ago, I run on my own but if I run with my daughters 29 and 30 years ago, I can show them a thing or two. It gives me a buzz to know that they have to work hard to keep up with me lol

Hi, I'm 45 and fully intend to grow old disgracefully. I run in a skirt, with pony tails, rain or sun. I love doing silly things - they don't harm anyone, it's all about living life to the fullest...I don't care what age I am, why should anyone else?

Hi, I'm 41 years old and just started running less than a year ago.  I often run on my own, and participate in a race almost every weekend, purely because I love the adrenaline and the race-day energy keeps me going.  I'm loving this new found obsession, and I figure it's better than being on the couch!

Helen, I LOVE this!  I'm so there with you.  I love running in a skirt, but my hair isn't long enough for pony tails, so I always have on a bandana.  I'm LOVIN' life!  Keep it up, girl!

Thanks Karen, my hairs not very long either -but it doesn't stop me. I just danced the Wriggles dance Hot Potato with my great neice - she loved that I knew the words and movements but was too embarassed to be photographed with me...she's already learnt that "I'm embarassing"...in due time, like all the others, she'll learn what REAL embarassment is. hehehehehe

Hi Helen,

Running with in a Skirt with Pony tails sounds fun, an old slap head like me would have the pony tail and I am fairly sure its best for all concerned that I dont start running in a skirt, still i agree 150% with your posting ... keep it rocking !
