Love exercise. Hate going to the gym and being surrounded by posers and wannabes with mobiles. Prefer to use bodyweight exercises than lifting plates. Prefer the outdoors than a stuffy gym. Then this is the place to meet like minded people. If you rather do Push ups outside than Bench Presses in a gym. Join other like minded users and share ideas and questions on workouts and exercises. Contributorbronze Bob P Initially posted this on the main page which may have been the wrong place, so I'll ask it here. I'm getting ready to start one of the Turbulence Training Beginner workouts and wondered if anyone here has tried them. If so, which one, what did you think of it, any likes/dislikes ect. Also does anyone know what exercises can be substituted for "Stability/Swiss Ball Leg Curls". Any feedback greatly appreciated. Thanks

Contributorbronze Bob P Just a quick question. It's only been a little over a month and, I had started by using either the Treadmill or the Eliptical machine in our apartment complex fitness center about 5 times a week, recently I started following the 21 Day Fitness Challenge and am grabbing random workouts from the challenge based on time available in the evening after work. I've gotten rid of 90% of the junk food I used to eat and replaced it with salads and started eating a lot more fruit; I've actually had to tighten up my belt a couple of notches and I feel pretty good. I may weigh myself once a week but I think I've only lost about 2 Lbs. My question is how long do you think it might take to see a noticeable weight loss? I know I should be going by how my clothes fit and how I feel but it almost feels like this isn't working.

Any hints to help maintain motivation? Any tips to speed up the FAT loss? Thanks

Chris C answered the question Biceps

Dumbbell curls are the most popular method for biceps. Concentration curls are excellent too as I find you can lift with good technique with cheating (by swinging the weight) as people can in other exercises.
