Freeletics

Love bodyweight training? Want to dominate a handstand push-up or the dragon walk? Freeletics is an open-source (with options for subscribing) cardio and strength programme using bodyweight HIIT training. It is marketed as a viable option for people who love bodyweight training and/or may not have the money to spend on expensive ongoing memberships to gyms etc.

This is a tribe for people who do Freeletics, want to try Freeletics, or want to learn more/teach others about bodyweight training and their experiences.

On the Freeletics website (https://www.freeletics.com/) they state three things:

1) Freeletics consists of short and efficient high intensity workouts that can be done anywhere and anytime. All workouts are bodyweight only - no weights, no machines.

2) Freeletics is a sport. Complete every workout as fast as you can. Your workout time is used to measure your performance and compare with friends and athletes around the world.

3) Unleash your potential. Freeletics is tough. But it pays. Commit and don't ever quit! You are going to be fitter and better looking than ever before. Period.

You can sign up for free online to access their main workouts.

Work out solo, or start up your own group. Create a community for yourself, help others find fitness.

i dont think i am anywere near as fit as i would need to be to start this , do you think i should start a differnet form of training before i start this , as i would like to see this all the way to the end

Jim M Full Aphrodite workout done - only my 2nd one, albeit with awful sprawls as I nearly died after round 1! Just over 30 mins though, so I'm chuffed with that.

It kicked my butt.I hit it wide open. (was in a hurry had alot to do that day)about half way through I was exhausted!Finished it but I sat down on the floor for about 15 min afterwards.Next time I'm going to start at a little slower pace!!!I think you will enjoy it!!:))

Becky W Freeletics Tribe

Contributorgold Becky W I see I never updated my progress here. I finished my first 15 week program (cardio/strength) and just started a 15 week strength program (finishing up week 2 this week) the first 15 weeks were awesome and I'm excited to see where an all strength program can take me. Unfortunately I use the old format because there's no Freeletics app for Windows or the kindle :( Kind of a bummer since when I try to access the website with my Windows phone is just crashes over an over again. But either way I still incorporate new exercises and routines into the old format.
