Contributorsilver Elana C Slammed it. Completed the BE SLAM CHALLENGE with. Strength 1&2 and a conditioning 5. The strength ones I used a 26 kg for deadlifts, 12kg for double cleans, strength 2 stuck with 16 kg for goblet squats, double rows 14kg for single arm swings. For conditioning 1 I used 16 kg for swings and 14 kg for arm to arm swings.

For my single leg deadlifts used 18 kg for right leg ...my left is still injured and varied with 14 ,12 and 10kg. Double cleans with 12 kg and heavy swings with my 26kg. Conditioning was 20/20 and did double cleans with 10kg in left hand, 12kg in right. Swings with 16 kg

Contributorsilver Elana C Did a combo strength conditioning in BE SLAM. For strength two did 18 kg for goblet squats 16 and then 18kg for rows 16kg for single arm swings. On the conditioning did 12kg for cleans 18kg for swings

I do them every now and then. I try and do it heavy but the arm needs assistance! I always feel it the next day with the bruises on my wrists...they don't hit my wrists, it's just the kb is heavy so when it sits there it makes a bruise..

TT I have that issue when Kbell is heavy as well. When I use Kettleguard wristbands this helps or get a long cloth ACE bandage and wrap it but not too tight as blood flow expands the forearm. Maybe this can help you

Thanks Lisa B, will try a ACE bandage. I use sweatbands for the wrists sometimes and that helps sometimes.

Contributorsilver Elana C Strength 4/Conditioning 4 of BE SLAM challenge: split squats started with 18 KG switched to double 12 KG, used 16 KG for rows, double 12kg for heavy swings... on conditioning 4 dropped to 20/20 to focus on form... did 12KG for snatches..18 KG for high pull catch and squat. Felt better doing the 20/20 vs 30/30.

Contributorsilver Elana C Sta rated week 11 of BE SLAM. Strength 3. Single deadlift standing on right leg double 14kg. Left leg a14and an8 heavy swings double 12kg and clean and press 12kg. Had to assist on left side. Conditioning 1: 18kg for swings 14kg for single arm swings

Did my TGU with 10 KG on left, 12 KG on right until the last one and did a 12KG on left, Renegade rows with 14KG, single arm swings with 16KG double bell front squats with 12KGs, single arm rows with 18KG, alternating swings with 16KG. My arms are singing.

Contributorsilver Elana C Started Week 10 of BE SLAM For the Strength Portion...TGU ...used 10 KG on left side, 12 KG for right renegade rows..14 KG..single swings..started at 14, ended at 16 KG...for the conditioning section. 12KG for the high pull..used a 10 KG for left side push press, 12KG for right side. Phew, glad that's over.

Contributorsilver Elana C Completed week 9 of Be SLAM… Did a combo Strength 4 and conditioning 1… on the Strength section I did strength 4 which included 18 KG for split squats, 16 KG for rows..on the conditioning I started out swinging 18 Kg, dropped to 16 and for the final two rounds dropped to 14 KG.. on the 1 handed swings I started at 14 and dropped to 12. for the squat thrusts I used 14 KG bells. I dropped the weight because I felt my energy was getting spent and I wanted to keep up my form.
