Tony H parkrun Tribe Tribe

Contributorsilver Tony H Hi all, just joined the tribe. Been doing the Whitley Bay Parkrun for about 6 weeks now. Absolutely love the end, hate the 24.05mins that happen before that! Goal for 2014 is to reduce the suffering to 23 mins! I'm on the right track, my first run clocked in at 27.53 mins a few weeks ago. Any other Whitley Bay Park runners out there?

Alex D parkrun Tribe Tribe

Contributorgold Alex D Ran Parkrun yesterday and really pushed myself 27:16 wow! Almost 1minute off my 5k race PB. Am seeing huge improvements since I joined the running club.

...and that feeling is both understandable and entirely justified. That's a great time, and a great improvement on PB - you didn't just shave time off, you sliced it!

Thanks Russ! It is fantastic to see the hard work paying off! Did 5.35miles yesterday and was a bit achy but felt great! Gorgeous views over Canterbury in the sunshine. Hope you had a good weekend, and you have a great day!
