Contributorbronze Janis F Okay, last deadlift session today before the deload and then the meet. Spent some time at the hospital with Kyle yesterday to make sure what ever is going on with his knee/calf was not a blood clot (so scary) and it knocked my training off a day, which rarely happens, and even more rarely this close to a meet. That's okay, you sometimes have to just be flexible with your scheduling and understand that your body will handle what adjustments to it you make. I'm excited to be this close to the deload, but things are going to be slow next week without my usual training.

Thanks, Adrian! I love writing about powerlifting so this was such a fun opportunity. I have a meet on the 20th and I'll be posting about my results here. Will I make the weight cut? Will I post a top-five total? Time will definitely tell.
