Share your training problems tribe- whinge away!

A tribe for sharing difficulties, problems, obstacles and worries about training for what ever sport you participate in.
Life gets in the way of exercising and it is not always easy to fit training in with your work, kids, partner, household chores, injuries etc.
A problem shared is a problem halved so please post whatever is bugging you because it is getting in the way of your training. :-)

I find that setting short goals for myself to keep myself motivated helps.  Making sure the goals are attainable, so that I don't get too discouraged. It might help also if you have someone who runs or trains with...

This may not help you but just wanted to write and tell you that I should probably be on an anxiety medcine but I am not. I'm a bit of a hyprocondric too if their is any kind of medcine for that. I am currently await...

I am currently on quetiapine & sodium valproate for bipolar disorder & anxiety and although the meds have balanced my moods considerably, I still get periods of depression which along with the sedative effects of the drugs make it near impossible...

Totally agree with Monica again, try and recapture why you ran in the first place and enjoy a celebration of how you got to running a Half Marathon, an achievement many people will never attain.

Then maybe sit down and have a look at your goals a...

I've been training for half, which i've accomplished, but procrastinating on the training for the full...it's like since i strarted paying attention to my time, running style, the whole shabang...running has become a chore....which it shouldn't.....

Thanks Tina, I hope you are right! I managed a 3km run today with no pain. I could have run further but believe it or not I got a blister (which I never get!). My husband says that was a good thing as it stopped me doing too much!!
