Working out at stupid temperatures

Its 34 deg C (93 deg F) here in my attic where I am doing many of my challenges and I am sweating like a turkey at Christmas. Where have you worked out where the temperatures have been a little on the stupid side. Let's find out who has been active at the most ridiculously high (or even low) temperatures.

Michael H Working out at stupid temperatures Tribe

Contributorbronze Michael H LOL....I just found this tribe and had to join. Living in the very tip of Southern Nevada literally just a few miles away from the Arizona border. Working out at stupid temperatures is common for me here from about the end of May until about the middle of October. It has well over a hundred every day for almost two months and doesn't really cool down much at all at night. Today was overcast with light rain and was actually in the upper 80's. I went out on a bike ride and was in heaven....hahaha.

Hi Michael, it is another world out there where you are compared to the small UK fishing town I live in, where we have an open top bus parade if the temperature gets above 70 deg F

Alex C Working out at stupid temperatures Tribe

Contributorbronze Alex C Our local fitness gym is not long open and is still working out how to balance he temperature the whole year round. This means whatever the temp is outside in the winter it was colder inside and in the summer it was warmer inside, I remember near Christmas we had a really cold spell and the temp was very near zero and after a 2 hour cardio routine I was still freezing and you could see your own breath and at the min we have resulted to exercising outside as it's like a sauna inside,(and don't get me started on the spin room) I need to remember my thermometer next time I'm there haha

Contributorgold Cory W Summer of 2011 still sits in my mind, I was in the middle of my weight loss journey so I'm sure the heat helped melt some of those pounds away, Texas broke all kinds of heat records that summer especially for for # of days at 100 degress. http://www.weather.com/outlook/weather-news/news/articles/2011-heat-superlatives_2011-07-15

Cheryl P Working out at stupid temperatures Tribe

Contributorgold Cheryl P yesterday was like an oven here... not a breeze to be found. I left the house at 7:30PM for my 10K run and it was 32C low 40s with the humidex... I had lots of water and money on hand to buy more... but man it was HOT and I managed to get in 10.04 at a very, very slow pace!
