Good session tonight. Front/back squat complex was tough. WOD was a ladder of 1 sumo high pull deadlift and one toes to bar, then two etc... For ten minutes. Used 40kg and got 10 rounds and a few reps. Might try 45kg next time, although it will mean less reps. Second workout of the day done. Time for dinner and then another workout

Crossfit again tonight. Managed a deadlift PB at 75kg without knowing! WOD was four round of 1mun at each of box jumps, toes to bar and front squat with one min rest.

Eoin O 5k Row and run Challenge

Playmakergold Eoin O created the 5k Row and run Challenge

For this challenge, you will need access to a rowing machine and somewhere to run - or a treadmill. You start with a 5k row (easy I hear you say?), then go straight into a 5k run. Get it done in under 45minutes.

Ok, I've added two rules: A: you have to add the photos of times and B: transition time is included in total time. Otherwise people would take it easy and recover, so to be fair for all this is the way it needs to be done.

Crossfit tonight. Ring dips getting easier, slowly. WOD was 12mins of 60 single unders, 20 power cleans and 10 wall balls. Got onto the third round and pushed a little heavier on the barbell, so pretty happy!

Eoin O Out run yourself from last year! Challenge

Contributorgold Eoin O Last year I ran 603.37km, had to take a lot of time off after an injury near the end of the Tralee Marathon. Only really got back to running in November and have 170.45 so far.

Crossfit: worked on pistol squats (unassisted), then clean and split jerks. The WOD was 21, 15, 9, 9, 15, 21 of deadlifts and burpees. I managed it in 17:21. Possibly could have done 37 or 40kg for the deadlifts instead of 35, but that's for next time!
